Institute magazine & Makeup my mood – Glam pirate
It all started when Marika D’Auteuil (Professional makeup artist) introduced me to a conversation with designer and stylist Xavier Laruelle.
I didn’t know him yet as I’m already looking forward to working with him.
All three of us knew we wanted to do a new creative photo shoot
together, but we didn’t yet know under which theme we were going
to work.
For the photo shoot, we wanted a theme that we
would allow to use different textures, as much in the decor as in the
styling, as makeup, in order to create beauty portraits.
Obviously, we needed a brainstorm to clarify our ideas!

Simple solution make a Facebook discussion group. “Put 3 spirits
brimming with creativity together in one discussion ”. The result is
really funny, that’s a lot / a lot of ideas !!
I don’t remember if it was Marika or Xavier who spoke about Pirate in
first, but the whole team liked it all at once. It is as if
each of our respective ideas had just come to life. We finally had a theme,
our common thread!
Xavier wasted no time in starting work. Professional designer, he made
with his hands all the clothes that were used for the photo shoot. Also, we
even modified a pirate hat to fit our photo shoot, and it
designed with his hands a fishing net that we used as an accessory
during the photo shoot.

In short, it was a magnificent photo session, very pleasant to carry out, in collaboration with highly talented artists. Thank you Marika, Xavier, and Gabrielle (model at Montage models) for participating in this creative photo shoot.
